My sister, who loves flowers and is represented in the painting You Will Be Surrounded By Luxury by the garden spade, begged me for years to paint a flower picture.  Sometimes I'll paint something just to make someone else happy.  This is my first attempt at painting more than two or three flowers at a time...and I liked it!  Other paintings featuring flowers are Cut Flowers, Summer Garden, Vase of Roses With Dark Narrative Under Currants,  and Mona Lisa Dances With Poppies.
