On a couple of occasions, I have heard my work referred to as "eye candy".  While I realize that this label is often a bit derogatory, I nevertheless figured the viewers actually meant it as a compliment.  However, I do gravitate toward bright colors and shiny objects.  I put together this fun bit of fluff to answer the question once and for all:  Is my work serious art, or is it just plain fun.  You decide.  Other paintings capitalizing on food are Kitchen Still Life, Blanca and Francesca, Summer Garden, Silver With Fruit and Cakes, Mu Shu, Maria's Dinner Table, Food Pyramid, Spanish Wine and What A Fruitcake!
