GALLERY ONE
WITH CURRENTLY AVAILABLE WORK
"I was once described as a ‘meticulous
realist’. I paused and wondered—this is a good thing, right? When a dear
friend and gallery director later proclaimed me obsessive-compulsive I figured,
well, it does seem to work for me. Yes, I do spend many months and long hours
executing the color and detail of my work on a grand scale. But, I figure that
is what it takes for me to build what I want to be a feast for your eyes. I want
you to get caught up in the richness of detail, the play of light and textures,
and the intense color, and to never be disappointed in what you have looked more
closely to see.
Even if you do not want to order a
print, please take some time and have some fun browsing through my
"galleries". I hope you will enjoy viewing the different images, and
perhaps noticing the small details of each piece. Perhaps you will see
some very familiar objects, or will simply be entertained by the objects,
colors, and textures that I have chosen for each painting. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about what you
see, or if a detail is not clear. I'd like to hear from you, and will
answer all email! Enjoy!"
