Kitchen work areas are a favorite subject of mine.  It's not that I do so much work in the kitchen; I just like to play with food!  This is an earlier still life, similar in nature to Lizzie's Ocean Waves. It was done when I was mainly using antiques as the props in my work.  Like Ocean Waves, it too has a nice homey feel to it.  I've used kitchens or food as the subject matter for more prints.  Check out Blanca and Francesca, Summer Garden, Silver With Fruit and Cakes, What a Fruitcake!, Mu Shu and Eye Candy.
