I
began setting up this painting early one day. I was trying to get a play
of colored light passing through the different colored bottles, etc.,
and reflecting onto the black and white striped fabric in the background
and on the table. There were no marbles in it at that point. My husband
walked into the studio, saw what I was trying to do and said "You've
really lost your marbles this time." Right then and there I saw that
MARBLES would be the right addition to the painting, giving it even more
sparkle and color. So we visited an antique shop, purchased a quantity
of marbles, put them with others I had on hand, and a painting was born!

another painting where I played with light passing through glass. That's
fun.
